HOW TO APPLY

Applicants who wish to apply for a visa are requested to kindly read the information on this site carefully. The guidelines listed on this site are to help you prepare your documents as accurately as possible.

Step 1:

Only short stay Schengen visa and short stay Dutch Caribbean visa applications are accepted at the Gerry’s application centre.

Step 2:

Please go to the link “Visa Types” to choose the right visa category for you and the requirements to make the visa application.

Step 3:

You must book an appointment at the visa application centres (VACs) in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore in order to submit your visa application. Walk in applicants will not be accommodated with the exception of applicants submitting documents following on a granted appeal- (the appeal granted letter must be shown before being allowed to walk-in to the VAC).

From 17 November 2017 the Gerry’s service fee (€28,-) will need to be paid online before an appointment confirmation letter can be printed. The service fee can no longer be paid in cash at the application centre. For further information please click here

For Orange Carpet, EU/EEA family member applicants and Official / Diplomatic applicants we will accept application submission as a walk in between 09:00 – 10:00.

Step 4:

You must submit a completed and signed visa application form. Each person travelling with you on your travel document must submit their own visa form. Forms for children under the age of 18 need to be signed by a parent or guardian.

And supporting documents to the visa application centre to submit your application. Please ensure that you add all the required documents;. Submitting an incomplete application is at the risk of the applicant and can lead to refusal or longer processing time.

Please also ensure you read the security regulation notices before you visit the Visa Application Centre.

Step 5:

All applicants must apply in person. On arriving at the visa application centre, you will be seated in the waiting area. You will next be called to our submission counter where your application and supporting documents will be scrutinized and your photograph and passport will be checked for validity. Please carry the originals and copies of all documents. As part of the visa application procedure, you will need to provide biometric data. Finally, you will be issued a receipt for the fees paid as an acknowledgement.

Incomplete applications:

If an application is incomplete, this may result in a longer processing time or the refusal of your application. By signing the checklist, that is part of the application, you indicate that you are aware of this..
